7th Grade Life Science

Objective: By the end of the hour, I will have previewed the vocabulary for the unit.

Plan:

- Get a computer and log in

- FIRST HOUR ONLY : go to this form and complete it (there's no guarantee you'll do that event)

- Get ready /wait for a Socrative game to start! Room number - MARTIN2574

- After the Socrative game, play the Classification unit vocabulary games

- Go back to Socrative to submit your scores - EVERYONE MUST TURN IN AT LEAST ONE SCORE

- High scorer for the games gets to play on the smartboard at the end of class!

- If you have not shown me your evolution games, you need to do that today.

Due in class: Both games

Homework: NA - if you were absent, play the unit vocab games to catch up on content

6th Grade Earth Science

Objective: By the end of the unit, I will be able to explain the Big Bang Theory.

Plan:

- Read the opening to the Theory Challenge

- Take notes on the first half of the Theories of the Universe powerpoint (up through question #7)

- After the notes, complete the Theory Challenge Activity
