Current Events

Objective: To analyze current events relevant to science.

​

Task: 

1. Find TWO science current events articles: 

   • The articles MUST have been published within the last year.​

   • The articles MUST be on the same topic, even if the perspective or argument is different.

   • The articles MUST be science-related, preferably about something we learned this year.

   • You may search through this list for inspiration and articles or resources.​​

2. Choose ONE of these formats to present your information:

   • PowerPoint​

   • Video

   • Essay (use the RACE strategy)

   • Plickers or Kahoot game

   • Poster

3. Present this information, using one of the formats above:​

   • Article titles and source​

   • Main point/argument of each article

   • Three supporting facts/documentation in each article

   • Why this topic is important or relevant
