A: Yes, but all late work is 85% of the grade.

A: (Answer updated 1/18/17) No, you cannot do extra credit. You can make up or re-do a missing assignment.

Q: "I don't have my warm up page and now I have a zero. What do I do?"
A: Look on the No Name wall. OR Read and summarize a current events article related to something we're learning in class. Summary should include the title and publisher of the article, as well as at least three sentences with the main points of the article. Finally, it should answer the question, "How does this article relate to what we have learned in class?" You can use some of these articles if you need ideas.

Q: "Wait. So no extra credit?"
A: You may earn extra credit on work already assigned. So if you totally rock that project, you may get a 102% instead of a 100%.

Q: "I know I turned something in, but I got a zero. What do I do?"
A: Look on the No Name wall. It's probably there. If it's not there, ask me at a convenient time to double check that I don't have it.

Q: "What did we do yesterday?"
A: Check the blog on the Home page.

Q: "Why is my grade so low?"
A: Do you have any zeros? Do you have a very low grade on one assignment? Do you have low grades on many assignments? A yes to any of these can be why.

Q: "How do I check my grades?"
A: Log on to the portal. Click on Grade Book, then change the grading period above the table on the right to the correct grading period. Then click AC Science. Assignment information can be found on the Assignments page.

Q: "What are we doing today?"
A: Read the board. It's on the board every day when you walk in to class.

Q: "I wasn't here yesterday to do the warm-up. What do I do?"
A: Write "Absent" on the warm-up page for that day.
