Objective: By the end of class, I will be able to compare and contrast a geological time scale and a cladogram. See unit resources.

Organize the following species into groups: leopard, otter, skunk, dog, and wolf.
Plan:
- Review the warm up.
- Direct teaching on slides 44 - end (approximately).
- Work on the second to last slide in pairs.
- Students work on the branching and diagram assignment and the common ancestor assessment.
Due in class: Pair work from PowerPoint
Homework: Whatever is not completed in class
Absent: Read through the Plan and complete what you can, as well as the Homework

Objective: By the end of class, I will be able to define at least three vocab terms for the unit.

Get a computer and log in. Check the blog for instructions.
Plan:
- Wait for the teacher in order to watch the video from the PowerPoint
- Students can play the vocab games or the matching game
