7th Grade Life Science

Objective: By the end of class, I will be able to define incomplete dominance and codominance.

Warm up question (note - always answer in a complete sentence OR write the question and answer):

Write a quiz question on anything we've learned about this unit.

Plan:

- Watch a video on sex-linked traits

- Discuss how this relates to the blue people activity

- Watch a video on incomplete dominance, codominance, polygenic traits, and epistasis

- Complete a practice page

Due in class: Nothing - although the practice page can be turned in Thursday for a proof of practice

Homework: Nothing

Absent: Read through the Plan and complete what you can, as well as the Homework

- Read the three articles and summarize each one separately.

Due in class: Article summaries
