7th Grade Life Science

Objective: By the end of today, I will have completed the student health survey (if parent permission given).

Warm up question (note - always answer in a complete sentence OR write the question and answer):

Get set up on the computers

Plan:

- Take the student health survey from the Barber website

- Sign up for CK12 (if you're not signed up already) - FOLLOW THE STEPS FROM YESTERDAY'S POST FOR SIXTH GRADE

- Do the assignments for CK12 and make sure to click "turn in" so it registers

- Complete the Monster Genetics Lab (I have copies) - you may have to use an online coin-flipper and look up some of the terms we haven't covered in class to complete the questions on the back

Due in class: Student health survey & CK12 assignment

Homework: NONE

Absent: Complete the CK12 assignment and Monster Genetics Lab

6th Grade Earth Science

FYI - sub tomorrow

Get set up on the computers

Plan:

1. Go to the Barber site and take the student health survey (under Quick Links)

*Do not take the survey if your parent signed the letter for you NOT to take it. Just go to #2.

- For the question about IEP, if you do not know what it is, you probably don't have one.

- For the question about dual credit/classes, put NO. That's for high school.

- For the rest of the survey, answer to the best of your ability. This is a survey, so there are no "right" or "wrong" answers.

2. After you are done, you may do one of the following:

- Do your next two assignments on CK12

- Play the vocabulary games or do the flashcards

Due in class: Student health survey

Homework: CK12 assignments

Absent: Complete the CK12 assignments
