7th Grade Life Science
We completed a Cell Processes Summarizer in order to review the terms used for different cell processes. Then, we worked on our poster project. Absent? 1st hour only: In-class work (page 101, questions 2-5, answer in complete sentences). Both hours: complete the cell processes summarizer.
6th Grade Earth Science
We learned about Pangaea and the breakup of continents (beginning of PowerPoint). Then we tested the earthquake-proof houses and discussed their outcomes. Absent? Go through the first seven slides to learn about Pangaea. REMEMBER THE EARTHQUAKE-PROOF HOUSES ASSIGNMENT DUE MONDAY. Make-up work for notes: For 5th hour, if you need to make up the assignment "Warmup & Notes", download the PowerPoint and write the notes from slides 4, 5, 9, 12, 13, 15, 21, & 22.
All classes: Just like every grade in this class, if you got a grade lower than what you wanted, you can re-do that assignment for up to 50% of the missed grade. So if you got an 80%, you can get up to 10% more with a re-do. If you got a 90%, you can get up to 5%.
