7th Grade Life Science
"Students will describe the structure and function of cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems."
Absent? We took notes from the cell processes powerpoint and watched an Amoeba Sisters video on mitosis. Finally, we took notes and made a flipbook on mitosis. (There may or may not be a quiz tomorrow based on the flipbook.) Homework: None
Project: We will be working on Thursday and Friday on a mitosis poster project in groups.
6th Grade Earth Science
"Students will investigate the scientific view of how the earth's surface is formed."
Absent? We completed the boundary chart notes from yesterday on the three main plate movements. Then we worked on our project. Students also completed this online quiz based on yesterday's boundary chart notes. Homework: Complete the Earthquake-Proof House Form by Monday 12/12! You can use the textbook site (barbermath, n3j6j) for some answers.
