7th Grade Life Science
"Students will describe the structure and function of cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems."
We discussed the positive vs negative feedback loop in relation to homeostasis. Then we learned about endocytosis and exocytosis. Absent? Study endocytosis and exocytosis.
Homework: Complete any missing work.
6th Grade Earth Science
"Students will investigate the scientific view of how the earth's surface is formed."
We continued learning about volcanoes and other major geological events. Then, we reviewed the three major types of plate movement with some notes. Finally, we worked on the earthquake-proof houses project.
Absent/Homework: Complete the Earthquake-Proof House Form if you haven't already.
