7th Grade Life Science

"Students will be able to describe the structure and function of cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems."

We took a test today! If you want a higher grade on your test, you may complete this Office 365 form for up to 8 points extra up to 100% on the test. This form can also be found in Synergy under the test grade.

Homework: None

Absent? Complete the test Monday (see yesterday's post for the study guides).

6th Grade Earth Science

"Students will investigate the scientific view of how the earth's surface is formed."

We continued learning about plate tectonics with these powerpoint slides. Then we worked on the class project. Next week, I will post a form that you will complete in order to receive individual points for the assignment. Overall, I have been really impressed by the amount of participation in the classes! Something to think about when working on the project: what oftentimes happens, specifically in coastal cities, after an earthquake?

Homework: Watch this video on how tsunamis are formed. Consider how this may affect how you build your house!

Absent? See homework.
