The MOD Squad & STARS mentoring programs are sponsoring a can food drive. Please bring canned food at the beginning of school tomorrow, Friday, 11/18!
The homeroom class that donates the most cans of nonperishable foods will earn themselves a Pizza & Music social! The social will be the week we return from Thanksgiving Break.
7th Grade Life Science
"Relate cell structures (cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasm, chloroplasts, and mitochondria) to basic cell functions."
We reviewed the differences in organelles and structure between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Then, we did a gallery walk in order to practice distinguishing between the two types of cells.

6th Grade Earth Science
"Compare and contrast the Earth’s crust, mantle, and core including temperature, density, and composition."
We played review questions using Kahoot in preparation for tomorrow's test.
Homework: You can study for the test by studying questions 1-10 on the review. For the test, you will have to know all of the questions labeled S6E5a. The other questions will be on the next exam.
